You'll learn how to estimate distance underwater, underwater map making, and how to find your way back to the exit point both with and without a compass.
The course covers underwater navigation techniques, including the use of natural navigation cues and compass navigation. You will practice estimating distance, creating underwater maps, and learning to navigate to specific points and back.
You should be a PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization. Being comfortable with basic diving skills is also important.
